Queen’s is one of Canada’s oldest Universities that was established by Queen Victoria in 1841. It is located in the city of Kingston on the shores of Lake Ontario, with its main buildings on the waterfront. It has a small, beautiful campus perfect for pedestrians while still being a research intensive, academic University. Queen’s is known for its highly competitive commerce program as well as its medical program. The student services at Queen’s are well known for caring for their students and providing academic and wellness support. The campus is also a 10 minute walk from the downtown area, allowing students to have access to all of the benefits of a big city.
