Simon Fraser University has two main campuses in Burnaby and Surrey. With a world class athletics division, they are the only Canadian university associated with the United States NCAA. Within academics, SFU offers a diverse range of programs from Education and Creative Technologies to Engineering and Health Sciences. Their Burnaby campus hosts a great natural environment for outdoor sports and activities in between classes. Some of their notable alumni include Terry Fox, Sam Sullivan, and Margaret Trudeau.

Interesting Facts:

• The original name of the university was Fraser University, but was later changed due to its problematic initials
• SFU became the first non-American university to be accepted into the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
