Wilfrid Laurier University, commonly referred to as Laurier, is located in Waterloo, Ontario, with a smaller campus located in a secondary location in Brantford, Ontario. The school offers various highly ranked programs, and is established as a U Sports school that engages in Ontario University Athletics with their Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks team. The Registrar’s Report from 2016 showcased that the most popular programs applied to at Laurier includes Business, Communications Studies, Psychology, Criminology, Economics, and Biology. The Faculty of Music at Laurier is also considered one of the best in Canada. There are also collaborative programs that Laurier facilitates, such as their Law and Arts program that allows students to obtain a degree from both Laurier and the University of Sussex. Laurier is also established as a school that offers several co-op opportunities to their students, regardless of their program.
