- [ ] As grade 10 draws to a close, itâs time to start gathering resources and opportunities to help you throughout the upcoming school years and prepare yourself for post-secondary. Subscribe to LEAPâs Ribbit Review for bi-weekly tips and tricks to prepare you for post-secondary, delivered straight to your inbox.
- [ ] Check in with your schoolâs guidance office to see what summer school courses are being offered! Some grade 12 courses require grade 11 prerequisites that are available in the summer, so if you have the time itâs best to get them out of the way now.
Grade 10 is almost over! Keep working hard and make sure you donât fall behind in the last few months of school đŤ

- [ ] Make sure to hand in any loose forms to your guidance office before the end of the school year, including unlogged volunteer hours, summer school forms and/or course selections for next year.
- [ ] Trying to save some money for post-secondary? Grade 11 is a great time to get some work experience! Make sure to check out job boards (especially the Canada Student Summer Opportunities Database), Linkedin, local businesses or family/friends to find places that are hiring!
- [ ] Thinking about joining a summer camp? Check out these options below! Donât see something you like? Do a quick google search or ask your school counsellor for help!
- EXPLORE Program - attend a 6-week intensive summer French immersion program in Quebec to improve your language skills and explore the province
- League of Innovators Summer of Impact - learn about entrepreneurship, innovation and making a difference + submit to an innovation challenge
- Students on Ice - experience Canadaâs polar regions and delve into the fields of science, history, sustainable development and connecting with nature
